Appointments and Cancellations
We take our relationships with our clients very seriously. When an appointment is scheduled, that is our commitment to be fully present with our clients as we engage collaboratively in the work of therapy. As we set aside time for our clients, our policy is that we require 24-hour notice should you need to cancel an appointment. You will be charged for the session for cancellations that do not occur with 24-hour notice. Please ensure that you call the office as soon as you are aware of the need for cancellation. We will make every attempt to work with you. Please leave a message if we are unable to take your call.
Insurance
Destin Services are "self-pay," and fees are due at the time of service. Insurance is not handled through our office. However, we can provide you with a detailed receipt, which includes the necessary diagnostic codes, that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, know that your insurance is a contract between you, your employer (where appropriate), and your insurance company. As such, you are responsible for knowing your plan and the services for which you qualify. Contact your insurance company for more information.
*For your convenience, all major credit cards, cash, checks, Health Savings Account cards, and debit cards are accepted.
Collections Policy
Any outstanding balances that are beyond 60 days may be subject to legal remedy to satisfy the account. Please make certain to stay in contact with us to ensure that payment arrangements have been made. If such action becomes necessary, all legal costs will be included in the claim.
A returned check will result in a $25 fee along with a cash payment for the session. More than two returned checks will result in sessions being credit card or cash only.
